Since 1984

A.K.S. Engineering Co. was founded in 1984 by Subhash Rana and Ashwani Rana. The company is based in Mylapore Village, Thiruvallur District, and has grown into a manufacturing facility trusted by many of India's leading power, cement, and process industries.

Over four decades, our scale has changed considerably — our standards have not. Every pipe bend, reactor, and coil that leaves our facility today is held to the same precision and reliability that our founders built the company on.

What We Manufacture

• Pipe bends up to 168.3mm dia x 12.5mm thickness via CNC cold bending, and up to 300mm dia via hot bending

• Air Receivers, Pressure Vessels, Autoclaves, Reactors & Tanks

• Helical Coils, Limpet Coils, Economiser Coils & Super Heater Coils

• We also undertake pipe bending and general fabrication job work for clients who need dependable subcontract capacity.

OUR FACILITY

We're not just a fabrication shop — we're a fully equipped manufacturing facility with the infrastructure to back it up:

• • 4.13 acres total site area, with 12,000 sq. ft. of covered production space

  • 149 HP of installed power capacity

  • CNC pipe bending machines up to 168 OD x 12mm thickness (4 numbers)

  • Hydraulic and 3-roller bending machines up to 312mm O/D

  • Plate bending machines for heavy-gauge work

  • 10-ton overhead crane for material handling

  • Plasma cutting capacity up to 25mm thickness

  • Dedicated welding bay with CO2, TIG, and 10 welding rectifiers

  • I.B.R. qualified welders, capable of X-ray quality welding via both Argon and ARC processes

  • All products manufactured under inspection by recognized inspection agencies

  • Approved by the Director of Boilers, Tamil Nadu, for manufacture of pressure parts and pipe bends

  • Special Purpose CO2 welding machine for flange weldings required in concrete transit pipes

  • Sand Blasting facility
